I engaged a developer who is developing a website for me. I am not happy with him and would like that once the website is ready, I transfer the duties of further development, seo and web admin to another developer.

What do I need to be aware of? and what information do i need in terms of passwords etc?

The website has been developed in word press and I have access to the CMS but I am not technical so i am not sure if there are security levels for the more technical people.
